Description=Tray Ping is used for 'pinging' IPs, f.e. computers in your local area network or in the internet. A network ping (also known as Packet Internet Groper) is the process of sending an echo message to an IP address and reading the reply to verify a connection between TCP/IP hosts. An IP is an idenfication number for TCP/IP hosts. Tray Ping uses the Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP). The program stays minimized in the system tray area at the right lower area of your desktop. If you wish Tray Ping can timer-controlled ping the listed IPs and and is able to display the online/offline status of one IP using colored icons directly in the system tray area. Tray Ping can create a log file, too.
